Designed for cross-country ski racing, the Louis Garneau Elite Chamonix Tight provides sun and wind protection in its simplest, most aerodynamic form. Garneau made the Chamonix with ultra-stretchy Lycra Pro for moisture management and muscle support. To make the Chamonix more aerodynamic, the outside leg seams were eliminated.Made with Lycra Pro. This synthetic fabric moves moisture away from your skin and to the surface of the fabric, where it quickly evaporates. The fit is also slightly compressive to add support to muscles and alleviate some of the fatigue-inducing vibrations you encounter while skiing. The waist is elastic with a drawstring to allow for a snug, comfortable fit. The use of a drawstring also eliminates the need for a bulky belt, which can inhibit movement.
