It"s made of Garneau"s Airdry fabric. It"s a lightweight, stretchy polyester that is woven with tiny inner cells that facilitate the moisture wicking and permeability traits of the material. As the name implies, it dries really quickly as it doesn"t absorb an appreciable amount of moisture in the first place. The Airdry fabric is SPF 20 to ward off sunburn for those lucky days when you get a long midday ride. Garneau uses a contrasting mesh material under the arms and around the cuff of the sleeve to further improve the comfort level on brain-meltingly hot summer days. The third defense against the heat is a full-length zipper in front to allow maximum ventilation. If only there were tifosi along the roadside to dump bottled water on your head as you rode past.The flatlocked seams are stitched with a contrasting color to the body of the jersey, but matching the color of the mesh. The Profit cut of the Lemmon Jersey is form fitting to avoid the dreaded flap, reminiscent of amateurs with hand-me-down clothing, but not tight like a skinsuit. And the bottom cuff has gripper material to keep the jersey in place, right where you want it to be. The three back pockets are standard fare, but Garneau includes a fourth Quik pocket on the right side.
